- Christopher Moore Review added: 2018.03.22★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Down Cathedral is an excellent church built adjacent to the supposed burial site of St. Patrick. For this reason, it’s obviously one of the more important pilgrimage sites in all of Ireland. The town is really nice and quaint, and the cathedral preserves Patrick’s legacy well. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The interior of the cathedral is beautiful, and the history fascinating. A worthy visit along the Patrick Trail.
